Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed concern regarding Bukayo Saka's durability after the 25-year-old forward suffered a thigh injury against Bayern Munich. Saka limped off during the 2-2 Champions League draw and will miss Saturday's match against Everton. Arsenal fears the player may have sustained a grade-two tear that could sideline him for up to six weeks pending the results of an MRI scan.
Saka has suffered 11 different injuries since September 2023, prompting Arteta to emphasize the need to carefully manage his physical workload amid fixture congestion. With Saka sidelined, 16-year-old Max Dowman is expected to receive playing time against Everton on Saturday.
