Arteta insists Leeds United deserved their fine start to the season

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta praised Leeds United ahead of their Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium, insisting the visitors fully merit their strong start. Leeds enter the fixture sitting fifth in the league table and hold an unbeaten record following the international break. Arteta stressed that his squad is not taking Leeds lightly after reviewing their performances.

Arteta noted that Leeds earned their position by outplaying opponents and confirmed Arsenal have prepared thoroughly over recent days. Several Arsenal players were not involved in international duty and could return well-rested, but the Gunners remain focused on matching Leeds' intensity to claim all three points at home.
