Bournemouth owner Bill Foley has admitted the club still hopes to keep midfielder Alex Scott despite the 23-year-old rejecting a record contract offer. The Cherries previously turned down a £64 million permanent transfer bid from Chelsea during the summer window, but Scott has since declined terms that would make him the club's top earner.
Speaking ahead of Bournemouth's Europa League clash with AC Milan, Foley stated the club will continue discussions. He acknowledged strong competition from wealthier clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool as the January transfer window approaches.
