UEFA's qualification process for the inaugural 2028 FIFA Women's Club World Cup has been revealed, according to a report by The Guardian. The tournament is expected to take place in California from January 5 to January 30, 2028, featuring 19 teams across six confederations. Direct European entries will be awarded to UEFA Women's Champions League winners from 2024 to 2027, with remaining spots determined by five-year coefficient rankings.

FC Barcelona and Arsenal FC have already qualified for the competition via previous European titles. A cap restricts qualification to a maximum of two teams per league, meaning Chelsea's potential spot could be challenged if Manchester City wins the 2027 tournament.
