The former Arsenal sporting director has linked up with another English club after leaving Nottingham Forest…

Former Arsenal sporting director Edu has been confirmed as a senior advisor for League Two club Northampton Town. The appointment follows the recent takeover of the club by a Brazilian consortium that includes former forward Alexandre Pato. Edu will advise Northampton on sporting matters on a non-day-to-day basis while continuing his advisory role with Levski Sofia.
Northampton co-chair Joao Xavier addressed multi-club ownership concerns regarding the shared connections with Levski Sofia's owners. Xavier confirmed that Northampton will never join a multi-club model, emphasizing that no other club is part of their project as the Cobblers currently sit 23rd in League Two.
