Iraola explains why previous success against Arsenal may count for little at Anfield

Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has acknowledged Arsenal as the team to beat ahead of Sunday's Premier League match at Anfield. Iraola praised the reigning champions' defensive organization and quality, noting that his squad must be at their best to compete. Arsenal currently lead Liverpool by five points in the Premier League table after losing only once so far this campaign.

Iraola dismissed his past success against Arsenal with Bournemouth, stressing that Liverpool requires a tailored tactical plan focused on set-pieces and duels. He also spoke about his childhood friendship with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, insisting it provides no advantage. Arsenal enter the match following a shock penalty-shootout loss to Fleetwood Town and have not won a league match at Anfield since September 2012.
