Mariona Caldentey is facing up to 10 weeks out with a significant hamstring injury, though Arsenal say a follow-up scan has shown positive healing.

Arsenal midfielder Mariona Caldentey is facing eight to 10 weeks out after sustaining a significant hamstring injury. The injury occurred during Arsenal's 4-2 defeat against Manchester City on October 4, forcing her off around half-time and causing her to withdraw from international duty with Spain.
Interim manager Renee Slegers confirmed that a follow-up scan showed encouraging signs of healing, and no surgery is currently required. However, Caldentey is expected to miss a substantial portion of the remainder of 2026 as she undergoes rehabilitation.
