It is a second red card in the same month for the youngster…
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta addressed his furious touchline reaction to Max Dowman after the teenager was sent off against Fleetwood. Dowman received a straight red card for kicking out at Harrison Neal with five minutes remaining in the match. When asked about his exchange with the 16-year-old, Arteta stated that he told him something they had already discussed before the match.
The dismissal marked Dowman's second red card in October, having previously been sent off while playing for England's Under-19 squad. Arsenal went on to lose the Carabao Cup tie on penalties to League Two side Fleetwood following a 1-1 draw in regular time.
