People within Arsenal are all saying the same thing about Declan Rice

People close to Declan Rice and Arsenal consistently report that the midfielder is extremely happy at the club, according to journalist Charles Watts. Rice is nearing a new contract with Arsenal, with talks reported by BBC Sport to be at an advanced stage. The proposed agreement is set to raise his wages to approximately £350,000 per week, placing him alongside Bukayo Saka as one of the club's top earners.

The extended negotiations stem from the significant financial size of the historic deal, though sources note the outcome was never in doubt. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta views the long-term contract as a foundation to further develop Rice's attacking contributions and forward ball-carrying ability.
