Arsenal defender William Saliba could return sooner than expected after recovering ahead of schedule from a back injury. According to Hand of Arsenal, the French center-back returned to first-team training and is in contention for Wednesday's Champions League match against Slavia Prague or the upcoming fixture against Hull City.
Saliba has not played yet this season following an injury suffered after the World Cup. Writer James Lloyd notes that summer signing Ezri Konsa has performed impressively in his absence, giving manager Mikel Arteta strong defensive options and selection decisions moving forward.
