‘Wow, he’s a winner’: Sandro praises £23m Arsenal star who won nine duels vs Nottm Forest

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro has selected Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes in his all-time Brazilian Premier League XI during an appearance on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football. Sandro chose Gabriel alongside David Luiz and Thiago Silva in a back three, hailing the Arsenal center-back as a "winner" following his key role in the Gunners' recent league success.

Gabriel has remained a consistent starter under manager Mikel Arteta despite William Saliba's ongoing back injury. The 28-year-old Brazilian has formed a solid partnership with summer signing Ezri Konsa, with the defensive duo recently helping Arsenal secure a 1-0 win against Nottingham Forest ahead of a Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
