Aston Villa are reportedly preparing a $10–15 million bid to sign River Plate goalkeeper Santiago Beltran ahead of the January transfer window. Manager Unai Emery is seeking to bolster his squad with the 22-year-old Argentine prospect, who has made 45 senior appearances for River Plate while keeping 19 clean sheets.
Villa overhauled their goalkeeping options following Emiliano Martinez's summer departure and currently feature Zion Suzuki as their primary goalkeeper.
