While at the Ballon d'Or Ceremony, Aston Villa boss Unai Emery dropped a big hint on his future amid Man Utd links.

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery indicated contentment in his current role during the 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony amid speculation linking him to Manchester United. Wearing a custom Aston Villa suit, Emery spoke warmly about feeling comfortable and progressing in his career at Villa Park while speaking to journalist Guillem Balague.
The comments come as Manchester United manager Michael Carrick faces pressure following a 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth. Emery, who was nominated for Men's Coach of the Year after winning the Europa League with Villa, reportedly would require significant convincing to leave his position.
