Brighton chairman Tony Bloom hails best-ever Albion squad

Brighton chairman Tony Bloom has claimed that the current squad assembled for manager Fabian Hurzeler is the best in the club's history. Speaking to The Argus, Bloom expressed strong confidence in the team's depth and quality, stating it surpasses previous successful squads led by Graham Potter and Roberto De Zerbi.

Bloom explained that Brighton intentionally retained 30 senior players, outside of academy talent, after suffering ten injuries during August. The expanded squad was assembled to ensure sufficient coverage across domestic competitions and the UEFA Conference League as injured players return to fitness.
