Brighton & Hove Albion and Barcelona are both monitoring 18-year-old Estoril defender Jordan Arnolin, according to Portuguese newspaper Record. The Spanish club sent a scout to watch the teenager make his first senior start during Estoril's 4-0 loss to Porto on Sunday. French side Lille is also tracking the young player, with representatives attending the same fixture.
Arnolin, naturally a center-back, showcased his versatility by operating as a defensive midfielder against Porto. While no club has made a formal permanent transfer bid yet, Barcelona's recruitment department, led by Portuguese chief scout João Amaral, has reportedly tracked Arnolin since his appearances for Portugal's Under-18 squad.
