Carrick: Not impossible Man Utd can achieve Ferguson success again

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick stated it is possible for the club to replicate the success achieved under Sir Alex Ferguson, marking the 40th anniversary of Ferguson's appointment. Carrick noted that achieving sustained success requires patience, realism, and consistency rather than expecting results overnight. The comments come as Carrick faces scrutiny over his position, despite a midweek 3-2 victory against Roma.

Carrick acknowledged that modern football rarely affords managers the seven years Ferguson was given before winning his first league championship. Reflecting on their evolving relationship, Carrick shared that he now communicates more frequently with Ferguson as a friend than during his playing days, while remaining focused on United's upcoming match against Aston Villa.
