It was an eventful weekend for Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham players out on loan
Arsenal loanee Ethan Nwaneri had an audacious bicycle kick ruled out for offside during Borussia Dortmund's 2-2 draw with Werder Bremen. Meanwhile, Chelsea loanee Dario Essugo scored on his first start for Strasbourg in a 2-1 defeat to Nice, thriving in an advanced midfield role under manager Hugo Oliveira.
Several other London loan players also made an impact across Europe. Tottenham's Jamie Donley scored and assisted in Luton's 4-1 win over Wycombe, while Spurs loanee Yang Min-hyeok netted for Westerlo. Arsenal goalkeeper Tommy Setford kept his first clean sheet for Stevenage, and Chelsea loanee Dastan Satpayev returned from injury for Burnley.
