Chelsea face fresh concerns over Alejandro Garnacho after Aston Villa reportedly consider avoiding the £43m permanent transfer if his form fails to improve.

Aston Villa are reportedly prepared to abandon plans to sign Alejandro Garnacho permanently if his performances do not improve soon. The 22-year-old winger joined Villa on a loan deal that features a conditional obligation to buy for approximately £43 million, dependent on reaching a specific appearance threshold. Villa are reportedly willing to limit his playing time to avoid triggering that clause.
Garnacho has been restricted to five substitute appearances under manager Unai Emery since arriving from Chelsea. Although Emery recently praised the Argentine's display during a 3-1 victory against Viking, failing to trigger the permanent transfer would force the winger back to Chelsea next summer.
