After a torrid time with injuries, Romeo Lavia looks to be back to his best after playing back-to-back 90 minutes and approaching last season's minutes tally.

Romeo Lavia is just six minutes away from surpassing his total Premier League minutes from last season after completing consecutive 90-minute appearances for Chelsea. The 22-year-old midfielder played full games against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup and in a 2-0 Premier League victory over Manchester United.
Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso praised Lavia's recent form, noting the midfielder stepped into the lineup on short notice after Jordan Henderson fell ill. Lavia had previously been restricted by injuries since his £53 million transfer from Southampton in 2023.
