Chelsea given clear instruction amid Trent Alexander-Arnold transfer talks

Alan Hutton has urged Chelsea to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold, arguing that Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso would utilize the Real Madrid right-back properly. Alexander-Arnold has struggled for regular playing time in Spain following Jose Mourinho's appointment and the signing of Denzel Dumfries, starting just seven matches this season across club and country.

Chelsea reportedly view the right-back spot as an area for improvement amid Reece James's extended injury absence and uncertainty surrounding Malo Gusto. However, Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has downplayed rumors of a potential transfer, defending his tactical choices after benching Alexander-Arnold in El Clásico.
