Coventry City midfielder Jack Rudoni, 25, idolised Chelsea legend Lampard growing up and has thrived under his stewardship in the West Midlands
Coventry City midfielder Jack Rudoni has praised manager Frank Lampard, calling the Chelsea icon his childhood idol and a perfect mentor. Rudoni, who grew up supporting Chelsea, highlighted the valuable guidance the former England international provides on the training ground as the Sky Blues compete in the Premier League.
After a difficult start to the campaign without a point or a goal, Coventry secured their first top-flight victory in 25 years against Nottingham Forest through a Jay Dasilva goal. Rudoni noted the result gave the squad substantial confidence ahead of upcoming fixtures against Newcastle and Tottenham.
