Chelsea star Morgan Rogers arrived at Stamford Bridge having established himself as one of the Premier League's leading young attacking talents

Former Chelsea defender Glen Johnson stated he is not totally sold on Morgan Rogers despite the forward's strong start at Stamford Bridge. Rogers joined Chelsea from Aston Villa in a £117 million transfer and has recorded four goals and four assists in eight appearances across all competitions, including a goal in a recent 5-1 win over Bournemouth.
Johnson argued that declaring Rogers world-class after just six league games is premature given his massive transfer fee. He also suggested Chelsea's £52 million signing of defender Maxence Lacroix addressed a bigger positional need, adding that Rogers must sustain his output over multiple seasons to prove his valuation.
