Gleeful Chelsea fans react to Manchester United’s Michael Carrick sack decision: ‘Free three points’

Chelsea supporters expressed jubilation online following reports that Manchester United chose to retain manager Michael Carrick ahead of Saturday's Premier League match at Stamford Bridge. Manchester United chiefs reportedly met on Monday to discuss Carrick's future following a 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth, ultimately deciding to keep the coach in place.

Manchester United enters the upcoming fixture on an eight-game winless run across all competitions, which included a Champions League defeat to Como and a 3-2 Carabao Cup loss to Brighton. Chelsea fans reacted on social media by celebrating what some viewed as an easy victory, though other supporters expressed caution about facing an under-pressure side.
