Joe Cole has big hopes for two of Chelsea's most exciting players, tipping either, or both, to one day win the prestigious Ballon d'Or.
Former Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole has backed Chelsea duo Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers as potential future Ballon d'Or winners. Speaking to TNT Sports ahead of Chelsea's match against Manchester United, Cole named four English contenders capable of winning the award, also mentioning Jude Bellingham and Arsenal youngster Max Dowman following Harry Kane's Ballon d'Or triumph.
Cole stated that Kane's achievement has opened the door for the current generation of English talent. The Pride of London notes that while Palmer is established as an influential Premier League attacker, Rogers has also impressed early in his Chelsea career after joining from Aston Villa.
