Jordan Henderson faces a potentially frosty reception at Anfield as Chelsea plays Liverpool in the Carabao Cup fourth round. The former Liverpool captain upset some supporters of his former club after celebrating a brace against Bournemouth by slapping the Chelsea badge on his chest. Henderson joined Chelsea on a free transfer in the summer following his departure from Brentford.
The gesture drew harsh criticism online from Liverpool fans, who labeled the celebration stupid and disrespectful. In contrast, Chelsea supporters embraced the veteran midfielder's display of loyalty ahead of the clash against his former side.
