Liverpool: Romano drops huge Camara, Scott to Anfield updates as FSG eye big 2027 signing

Liverpool are targeting Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott and Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara as club owners FSG prepare major midfield additions for 2027. According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth are now open to considering significant bids for Scott, who is also wanted by Chelsea, while Liverpool have maintained a long-term interest in Camara after his proposed move to Chelsea collapsed.

Liverpool previously made contact regarding Scott during the summer following the permanent £30 million sale of Curtis Jones to Inter Milan. Romano noted that Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola and club directors aim to sign potential starters rather than backups, with the Reds prepared to pursue permanent transfers in January if the right market opportunities emerge.
