Morgan Rogers has credited manager Xabi Alonso's pre-match team talks for Chelsea's consistent run of early goals this season. Rogers highlighted the manager's ability to motivate the squad to start matches on the front foot following Chelsea's 5-1 victory over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.
In that match, Chelsea scored twice within the first three minutes, including Rogers' fourth goal of the season alongside braces from Jordan Henderson and Joao Pedro. The win lifted Chelsea to sixth place ahead of an away fixture against David Moyes' unbeaten Everton side.
