Chelsea are getting ready to face Tottenham at home next week, and Xabi Alonso is already talking about that match. If you enjoy Talk Chelsea…
Xabi Alonso has turned his focus toward an upcoming clash against Tottenham Hotspur following Chelsea's victory and clean sheet against Everton. Speaking to TNT Sport, Alonso dryly described the upcoming home match against Spurs as "a nice one" while highlighting the team's aim to secure a third straight win. Talk Chelsea writer Will Faulks interpreted Alonso's calm delivery as a subtle hint at an intense and feisty fixture ahead.
Chelsea's victory featured a two-goal performance from Pedro Neto, who served as the standout performer for the Blues. The match also saw a stoppage following an injury collision that required Emi Martinez to be taken off on a stretcher.
