Premier League signings of the season: Jacquet, Konsa, Rogers in but no Anderson

Writing for Football365, Jason Soutar named Leeds United defender Tarik Muharemovic the Premier League signing of the season so far. The 23-year-old Bosnia international joined Leeds from Sassuolo for just over £34 million and has quickly established himself in England's top flight. Soutar ranked the competition's top ten summer additions eight matches into the 2026/27 campaign.

Liverpool's £21-year-old defender Jeremy Jacquet finished second in Soutar's rankings, followed by Leeds goalkeeper James Trafford in third. Brighton's Luka Vuskovic and Aston Villa's Nicolas Jackson rounded out the top five, while Manchester City's £116 million midfielder Elliot Anderson missed the list entirely.
