Jose Mourinho has always been a love-him-or-hate-him manager, dividing opinion wherever he goes. But the bonds he has preserved with some fanbases are stronger than others.

Samuel Bannister of Planet Football ranked Jose Mourinho's former clubs based on how warmly their supporters still regard him. Ahead of Mourinho returning to Roma with Real Madrid in the Champions League, the author evaluated nine former teams, excluding his current employers Real Madrid from the analysis.
Bannister ranked Inter Milan first following Mourinho's historic Treble, followed by Chelsea, Roma, and Uniao de Leiria. Manchester United, Porto, and Benfica placed in the middle tier, while Fenerbahce and bottom-ranked Tottenham Hotspur were identified as harboring the least affection.
