Coventry City feature from CoventryLive as Sky Blues reporter Andy Turner sat down with Kai Andrews to discuss his development journey to date and smashing the bleep fitness test for three years running

Coventry City midfielder Kai Andrews has remained firmly in the club's long-term plans largely due to his exceptional fitness testing. The 19-year-old revealed that he finished top of the squad's bleep test for three consecutive pre-seasons, outperforming teammates Frank Onyeka and Victor Torp to impress manager Frank Lampard before departing on a season-long loan to Oxford United.
Andrews previously gained first-team experience during loan stints in Scotland with Motherwell and Hibernian after making his senior Coventry debut under former manager Mark Robins. An international who earned his first Wales senior cap under Craig Bellamy, Andrews hopes his performances with Oxford will prepare him to push for a starting spot at Coventry.
