Coventry had a trio of decisions go against them in defeat at Everton, with Frank Lampard suggesting a hair pull should have been a penalty.

Coventry City manager Frank Lampard questioned refereeing decisions following a 3-1 Premier League defeat against Everton on Friday. Despite Yann Gboho opening the scoring for Coventry, Everton fought back with two goals from Thierno Barry and a late strike from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The loss left Coventry in 16th place, while Everton climbed to fifth.
Lampard argued Coventry should have received penalties for a James Tarkowski hair pull on Caleb Yirenkyi and a foul on Taiwo Awoniyi. He also claimed Barry handled the ball before scoring his second goal. Everton manager David Moyes rejected the handball claims, while referee Stuart Attwell and VAR Timothy Wood dismissed Coventry's appeals.
