Burnley are searching for a Nicky Hayen replacement, and Rob Edwards has emerged as an option.
Burnley are reportedly considering a move for former Luton Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Rob Edwards to replace Nicky Hayen. Hayen was dismissed after a poor start to the Championship season, culminating in a 4-1 defeat against Lincoln City that left the club 22nd in the table. Edwards, who has been without a club since leaving Wolves during the summer, is viewed as a strong candidate by Burnley's hierarchy.
Burnley could face competition from Crystal Palace, where current manager Pierre Sage is under pressure following a recent 5-0 loss to Brighton. Edwards previously guided Luton Town to promotion from the Championship via the play-offs in 2023 and also earned a League Two title with Forest Green Rovers.
