Crystal Palace midfielder Quinten Timber has once again come under fire from Dutch journalist Valentijn Driessen after another difficult international appearance for the Netherlands. Quinten Timber joined Crystal Palace from Marseille during the summer and signed a contract keeping him…

Dutch journalist Valentijn Driessen strongly criticized Crystal Palace midfielder Quinten Timber following his display in the Netherlands' 2-2 draw against Greece. Timber was replaced at half-time by manager Xavi Hernandez as the Dutch side recovered from a 2-0 deficit. Speaking on the Kick Off podcast, Driessen argued that Timber ran around the midfield like a "headless chicken" without a clear plan, claiming his unplanned movement disrupted the team.
The criticism follows an earlier critique by Driessen, who previously labelled Timber the "worst Dutchman" on the pitch after a draw with Germany. Timber joined Crystal Palace from Marseille during the summer on a contract running until 2031. He has made appearances across the Premier League, Europa League, and EFL Cup, with the Netherlands next facing Serbia.
