Crystal Palace were denied victory in a thrilling Europa League 2-2 draw with Besiktas.

Crystal Palace earned a 2-2 draw away against Besiktas in the Europa League. Wilfred Ndidi gave the Turkish hosts the lead on the stroke of halftime before Palace staged a quick second-half turnaround. Yeremy Pino leveled the score in the 51st minute following a VAR review, and Jean-Philippe Mateta put the visitors ahead just four minutes later with his first goal of the season.
Besiktas equalized in the 73rd minute through substitute Junior Olaitan's strike from outside the penalty area. Despite the hosts being reduced to 10 men when Umit Akdag was sent off, Palace could not find a winning goal, earning their fourth Europa League point of the campaign.
