The pressure has been on for Pierre Sage - but out of adversity he is aiming to improve his skills as a coach and bond together a Crystal Palace squad to go and achieve future success.

Crystal Palace head coach Pierre Sage believes his challenging start to life at the club will help build the foundation for long-term success. Palace recently eased mounting pressure by securing a Carabao Cup victory over Fulham on Wednesday night to reach the quarter-finals, bouncing back after enduring a four-game winless streak across all competitions.
Ahead of Saturday's Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur, Sage discussed his admiration for Spurs head coach Roberto De Zerbi. Sage previously traveled to Sassuolo and Rome to study De Zerbi's tactical methods and explained his desire to adapt top coaching ideas to build his own winning style at Crystal Palace.
