Everton could be set for a change of manager should a takeover go through.

Football FanCast reports that former Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe could be targeted to replace David Moyes at Everton if Amanda Staveley completes a takeover. The Friedkin Group has reportedly placed the club up for sale, with Staveley emerging as a potential buyer who could look to change managers despite Everton's unbeaten start to the Premier League season.
Ethan Lamb argues that hiring Howe would greatly benefit striker Thierno Barry, who has scored six goals in eight appearances. Lamb highlights Howe's previous work developing Alexander Isak at Newcastle as evidence that the manager could help elevate the 23-year-old French forward's game at Everton.
