Everton have to bring over some fresh players in the winter transfer window.

Everton are reportedly pursuing a permanent transfer for Celta Vigo defender Javi Rodriguez, who is valued at around £33m. According to TEAMtalk, the Toffees remain interested in signing the 23-year-old Spaniard and have previously contacted his representatives. Fulham, Newcastle United, and Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly monitoring the player.
Football FanCast writer Angus Sinclair argues that Rodriguez would be Everton's best addition since Iliman Ndiaye left for Manchester City in a £65m summer deal. Sinclair believes the versatile defender would resolve Everton's defensive issues at right-back following Seamus Coleman's departure and inconsistent options in David Moyes' squad.
