Everton's 2-2 draw at Hull City in the Premier League came two days after owners The Friedkin Group put the club up sale

Everton manager David Moyes refused to use club ownership turmoil as an excuse following a 2-2 draw at Hull City on Sunday. The match came shortly after owners The Friedkin Group put Everton up for sale. Moyes criticized his team's naive defending and wasted opportunities, despite Thierno Barry scoring to maintain the club's unbeaten start to the season.
Moyes also addressed facing former midfielder Tim Iroegbunam, who joined Hull City in a £22 million deadline-day move. The manager admitted he was not in a hurry to let Iroegbunam leave, amid reports that Moyes lacked the final say on Everton's late transfer departures.
