MICHAEL PLANT AT THE HILL DICKNSON STADIUM: It took going 1-0 down, to a soft Yann Gboho goal, for the hosts to come alive here.

Thierno Barry scored twice to lead Everton to a 3-1 victory over Coventry City in the Premier League. Coventry opened the scoring through Yann Gboho, but Barry responded with two back-post goals before Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall sealed the win with a late third. The victory moved Everton above Liverpool into fifth place.
The fixture marked David Moyes' 592nd match in charge of Everton, drawing level with Harry Catterick's club record. Moyes also addressed the ongoing absence of Jack Grealish, who remains on a tailored fitness program following an off-field misdemeanor and could return after the upcoming international break.
