Everton could have an opportunity to move for midfielder Teun Koopmeiners during the January transfer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. Juventus are reportedly open to considering the departure of the 28-year-old Netherlands international if he fails to establish himself over the coming months. Everton previously tracked him late in the summer window alongside Newcastle United, Monaco, and Galatasaray.
Juventus prefer a permanent transfer and are reluctant to accept less than €25m (£21.7m) to avoid a capital loss. However, a six-month loan could become an alternative option if no permanent buyer emerges. Everton have not yet made a fresh approach, but Juventus's stance makes the situation one to monitor.
