Former Everton centre-forward Duncan Ferguson has returned to management with Glentoran

Former Everton striker and caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson has been appointed as the new manager of Northern Irish side Glentoran. Ferguson takes charge following the dismissal of Declan Devine last month, after interim managers Tim McCann and Paddy McCourt guided the club to third place in the NIFL Premiership.
Ferguson expressed his ambition to compete for trophies, confirming he has signed a long-term contract and will relocate to Belfast. Glentoran, 23-time league champions, last secured the Irish Premiership title in 2009.
