Aston Villa have confirmed the capture of 16-year-old winger Jake Doughty from Everton's Academy

Aston Villa has confirmed the signing of 16-year-old winger Jake Doughty from Everton. The England Under-16 international joins Villa's academy as a first-year scholar and will immediately link up with their Under-18s squad.
Doughty scored seven goals in 15 appearances for Everton's Under-18s last season. Everton will receive only youth development compensation rather than a traditional transfer fee because Doughty was too young to sign professional terms.
