It has been quite a day at Everton, with The Friedkin Group’s future at the club suddenly dominating the agenda. The owners have opened the door to a potential sale less than two years after their takeover, an £800m valuation…

The Friedkin Group has confirmed it is exploring investment options for Everton, including a potential sale of their controlling interest less than two years after completing their takeover. Investment bank Moelis & Company has been appointed to oversee the process, while reports indicate a potential asking price of around £800 million, which includes roughly £380 million in debt.
Everton manager David Moyes admitted he was surprised by the development after only learning about it on Friday morning. Meanwhile, the club is also preparing for an upcoming match against Hull City, with Moyes revealing that left-back Vitalii Mykolenko has a chance to play after returning early from international duty.
