Everton player ratings as one man 8/10 and another suffers ‘eventful’ afternoon in Hull draw

Chris Beesley of the Liverpool Echo awarded Kieran Dewsbury-Hall an 8/10 rating after Everton drew 2-2 with Hull City at the MKM Stadium. Dewsbury-Hall scored Everton's opening equalizer with a header and provided the assist for Thierno Barry to temporarily give David Moyes' side the lead. Meanwhile, Jarrad Branthwaite received a 6/10 rating after an eventful afternoon playing out of position at left-back.

The match featured opening and closing goals from Hull City's Joe Gelhardt and Mohamed Belloumi, cancelling out Everton's second-half resurgence. Everton extended their unbeaten run across all competitions to eight matches but missed out on securing their first Premier League away win of the season.
