Everton transfer latest: Richarlison return cools as Branthwaite links continue

Real Madrid are reportedly considering a transfer move for Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite. The 24-year-old center-back is valued by Everton at approximately £80 million, with Manchester United also linked to his services. However, there has been no formal approach or bid from the Spanish club, and Branthwaite remains under contract with Everton until 2030 after signing a five-year deal last summer.

Meanwhile, Everton are reportedly unlikely to make another attempt to sign Tottenham forward Richarlison during the upcoming January transfer window. Although a potential return to Merseyside was discussed late in the summer window, the club currently has no immediate plans to reopen talks for the Brazilian international.
