Everton defender Vitaliy Mykolenko has publicly backed his Ukrainian compatriot Mykhailo Mudryk to recover from an ankle injury and succeed at Tottenham Hotspur. Mudryk joined Tottenham on loan from Chelsea late in the transfer window to reunite with manager Roberto De Zerbi, but he has already missed three matches with an ankle issue that is expected to keep him sidelined until November.
The loan move followed Mudryk's return to professional football after serving a nearly two-year suspension that was settled in July. Despite the frustrating injury setback, Mykolenko emphasized that injuries are a normal part of football careers and expressed full confidence that the winger will return stronger for both club and country.
