EXCLUSIVE: Former Everton striker Jermaine Beckford has been assessing the form of current Blues frontman Thierno Barry…

Former Everton striker Jermaine Beckford says Thierno Barry should add more physicality to his game if he wants to emulate his idol Romelu Lukaku. Beckford stated that while the 6ft 5in French forward has the frame to be a commanding presence, he needs to utilize his size more effectively to mirror Lukaku's impact at Goodison Park.
Despite statistics showing Barry has missed a league-high 12 big chances, Beckford insisted he is unconcerned because Barry consistently gets into scoring positions. Everton entered the season with Barry as their primary senior striker under David Moyes following Beto's deadline-day departure and a collapsed move for Monaco's Folarin Balogun.
