EXCLUSIVE: Former Everton striker Louis Saha believes the club are a great investment opportunity as The Friedkin Group look to sell…

Former Everton striker Louis Saha has described the club as a "great investment opportunity" following news that its ownership is exploring a potential sale. Everton's owners announced on October 9 that they are reviewing investment options, including selling a controlling interest, less than 22 months after taking over from Farhad Moshiri. Saha, who built a fortune estimated at over £4 billion after co-founding Axis Stars, expressed surprise at the timing of the decision.
Saha highlighted Everton's rich history, dedicated fanbase, and new stadium as key assets for prospective investors. However, he also noted that manager David Moyes was left short of squad depth in the transfer market, adding that while the situation may not directly harm on-pitch performances, the ownership's desire to sell is puzzling given the club's stable Premier League position.
