Victor Anichebe is leading a consortium to take over at Bromley…

Former Everton striker Victor Anichebe is fronting an African consortium in advanced talks to complete a takeover of League One club Bromley. Current majority owner Robin Stanton-Gleaves is engaged in ongoing negotiations over the sale of the club, which currently sits bottom of the League One table.
The potential takeover comes amid significant managerial changes at Bromley following the dismissal of manager Andy Woodman. Karl Robinson is expected to take charge as the new manager, with former England striker Jermain Defoe set to join his coaching staff as assistant manager.
